Hebrew as a second language
The Israeli School of Lexington is offering a program for non-native Hebrew speakers based on the Proficiency Approach to Hebrew Language Acquisition. Each student is assessed so materials can be differentiated based on each child’s proficiency level and learning style. This means that each child receives a unique learning experience that is tailored to them. The focus of this program is to build students’ functional abilities in contemporary Hebrew so they are prepared to function in real-life situations, outside of the classroom, spontaneously and comfortably. This is achieved through developing skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
